Mark D. Glover

Mark completed his undergraduate and Master's degrees from Southern Nazarene University in Religious Education. He earned a Master of Divinity at Nazarene Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry in Counseling from Phillips Theological Seminary. A therapist since 1997, Mark is currently working as a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist with children and families within the court systems. As a state approved Case Manager/Parenting Coordinator/Domestic and Parent/Adolescent Mediator since 2003 and with a certificate in Group Conflict Management from Bethel College, Mark is helping high risk families, children, and adolescents. Experienced with both congregations and court systems, Mark has a breadth that allows him to help families and individuals. He helps deal with challenges using pre-marital and marital therapy; depression, anxiety, and addiction treatments, as well as family mediation and conflict management. His training in DBT (Dialectic Behavioral Therapy), family systems, and solution-focused brief therapeutic methods offers a variety of effective skills. Recently, Mark has received his certifications BrainSpotting and EMDR to treat a variety of trauma-related disorders. He is also a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist to complement his status as a Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor and is certified through the state of Kansas to run a Batterer's Intervention Program. Mark speaks at family seminars and retreats, provides clinical support and counsel to pastors and their families, and is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene. With over 20 years in the social services field, he has experience as an administrator and clinician. He and his wife have two children.
